Louis Blair lives in Lewes with his family and has two young children. His career has included 15 years working in local government housing and he currently works setting up housing co-ops and helping community groups with regeneration projects. Louis has a real belief in local government with interests including social housing, community and leisure facilities, youth services and recycling. In his spare time his hobbies are reading, walking, cycling and sport.
Louis has solid experience of local government and the way it works, his interests have lead him to understand the importance of the rural communities that surround Lewes. He feels strongly that local people who have to use their cars to shop , work and run businesses in Lewes have been punished by the Conservative County Council’s parking schmemes.
The Opposition parties often talk about local elections being a two horse race, but people don’t vote for horses, they vote for people, so if you would prefer to vote for a person and you want someone who knows how to get the best from local government who understands the area and its challenges and wants to give a real voice for Chailey, then vote Louis Blair on June 4th
